Custom design and manufacture of a stainless steel conveyor for the food and medical industries, from the on-site survey to delivery.
The challenge
A custom machine in stainless steel: a material that suits the food and medical industries, but is very hard to handle and to work. It had to fit the customer’s overall dimensions, product entry and exit heights and process length.
The solution
We visited the customer and took the measurements and process variables. We modeled the machine in 3D with parametric CAD, laser-cut the sheets, machined on a CNC machining center and lathe, and finished with conventional operations. We also brought in national and international suppliers.
The result
A machine designed and built to measure in-house, which opens the door to more projects for the food, medical and other industries that need it.
